Motion system a bit noisier than usual?
From time to time, our Neptune's motion system (left-to-right zoom, up-and-down height, in-and-out offset) may emit more noise than when initially installed. Our fleet services team will lubricate the drive screws at least once annually, but we suggest interim lubrication until our next service visit.
We recommend using Thomson TRI-GEL 300S, which is specifically formulated for linear motion systems and works well with the components on the Neptune’s vertical axis. You can find more information on it here: Thomson TRI-GEL 300S.
To apply: lay a fine line of lubricant along each drive screw, then jog the motion system to its extremes to distribute the lubricant.
